About GirlCook
This Chica Cooks
Cooking is love made tangible…I’m out to prove it and tell the tales!
Linnie, ChicaCook (Chica is Spanish for girl), Mom, GirlPrez, Wife, Daughter, Biz owner, proud Buffalo girl, Sister to 14….what defines a woman? I guess my Easy-Bake-Oven started it all. Working in my Dad’s restaurant sealed the deal. A way to create? A way to heal? To express? A way to share? A way to please others? A way to take charge? To try new things everyday? A way to soothe? A way to make delicious things out of simple ingredients? A way to show your love and express it tangibly? To your family…All this at once? And cooks all over the world doing this every day?
Wow. What stories to be told. Of love, life, and how cooking influences ALL!
Day Job: GirlPrez
Cook by night, GirlPrez by day. While I’ve owned a biz for many years, I recently started a side business (neither are food-related!) with my inspired friend Lizzie and my son, Miles. Isn’t it OK for a GirlCook to love biz too?
This Chica wishes you all lots of ‘love made tangible.’
Thanks for visiting! (P.S. thank you Carla for telling me to put those dreams into action and for Cait and HB for companionship in the kitchen and giving me a reason to cook!)
